Sony alpha DSLR-A300K or Nikon D60 ?

I'm moments away from buying my first DSLR camera. I thought would be good to get some opinions about which one is better and has long lasting battery and overall is GOOD before I buy it.

Help with my Kodak Easyshare?

I just bought a Kodak Easyshare M753. This camera charges through the usb wire. I have no problems charging the camera, but I cannot upload the pictures for some reason. My computer isn't recognizing that it's even plugged in. What should I do? Some help would be fantastic!

Is Nikon 28-80 AF lens and Nikon 55-200 mm AF lens compatible to nikon d40?
